Blog: The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack Is Out Now!

Release day! It’s the 24th of January and you all know what that means! The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack is available right now. The recommended price by Electronic Arts is $19,99/€19,99/£14,99. Read more below about this newest addition. Have fun playing with vampires!

The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack is available right now, and we couldn’t be more excited! Are you ready for your Sim to gain some awesome Powers and live forever? Then this is the Game Pack for you.

Vampires work differently to any other life state in The Sims 4, as they can gain Powers and Weaknesses, while providing great storytelling opportunities. Have you heard about the Vampire who refused to sip a drop of Plasma from another Sim? What about the tale of the Vampire who burst in to flames as he dashed to the mailbox so he could publish his latest romance novel? Or maybe the one about the friendly Vampire who wanted to befriend everyone he saw, but suffered from uncontrollable hissing?

Of course, there’s also Forgotten Hollow, the new World coming in the Vampires Game Pack. We’re so in love with the historic old feeling of this World, complete with Gothic architecture and cobwebs galore. Gargoyles watch over as statues stand in fountains, and fog creeps along the ground. You really get the feeling that this place has sat quietly in the dark for centuries, filled with Vampires and organ music.

We can’t wait for you to get started with your Vampire, and we’ve even written a little Haiku to celebrate

Vampires are here now,
Hiding away from the sun,
Hiss hiss hiss hiss hiss.

We might have taken the uncontrollable hissing Weakness…

We can’t wait to see all of the fantastic (and no doubt crazy) ideas that you come up with, so head on over to Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Instagram and send us your screenshots (and Haiku!) using #TS4Vampires!

Blog: 6 Things To Get Excited For In The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack

The release of The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack is almost around the corner! We still have a few days left untill the game is out. Read a new blog below with 6 reasons to get excited about the Vampires Game Pack!

Can you believe there’s only 4 more days until The Sims 4 Vampires* Game Pack is out? Neither can we! We’ve talked a lot about what’s in the pack over the last couple of weeks but we wanted to have a quick re-cap of all the things we’ve seen you talking about most on social media, so here we go!

Game pack The Sims 4 Vampires

1 – Playing the epic Organ!

When you’re a Vampire living eternally, you need a lot of hobbies. Playing the Organ is a great way for your Sim to idle away their time before sleeping, as the sun comes up and the rest of the town rises.

2 – Creeping around Forgotten Hollow.

There’s a new World in the Vampires Game Pack, and that’s Forgotten Hollow. Night time lasts longer here, so your Vampires can thrive better with less risk of bursting in to flames, which is always good. There’s a really old feel to this World, with Gothic architecture and fog creeping around, not forgetting the statue of Vlad standing proud in the center.

3 – Gaining ancient Vampire Powers.

Powers, you guys. POWERS. Mutate into a bat, travel through the air as a wisp, become more alluring to other Sims, master mind control, and a whole bunch of others. We’re really excited to see what great stories you all come up with using these!

4 – New grungy style decor.

We added a few grungy decor options in The Sims 4 City Living, and with The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack we felt that this was a great opportunity to bring in even more. There’s new rips & tears for the walls that fit with the Gothic theme, and some cobwebs to really give the whole place a dusty decrepit feeling.

5 – Sleeping (and woohoo’ing) in coffins!

We know how much you guys love your new woohoo locations, so when we created the coffin beds, we had to make sure we added the woohoo option as well. The animation for this is so fun, and we think your Vampire Sims will love it just as much as we do. Also, did we mention there’s bat form woohoo? Yup.

6 – Vampires, duh.

We couldn’t finish up this list without calling out the Vampires themselves! The customization options for the dark form, the fangs, withered glowing eyes, and so much more. We really really really can’t wait to see what kind of Vampire you create.

So, what are you super mega excited for? Tell us allllll about it on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Instagram using #TS4Vampires!

Blog: Gain Ancient Powers with The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack

Another blog about The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack has been published. This time you will get to know more about gaining ancient powers. Read more below and make sure to check out the new video and screenshots as well.

With only a week left before The Sims 4 Vampires* Game Pack launches, we are so excited to dive a little deeper into one of the biggest game-changing parts of being a Vampire… Powers! This is a unique new Powers progression system, that gives Sims new Powers & Weaknesses that are new to The Sims 4! So, let’s take a look.

Exciting, right?! Your Vampire Sims will have great options to increase their Vampire Rank, including duelling, reading Vampire lore and being mentored by other Vampires. Increasing their Vampire Rank unlocks an assortment of unique supernatural Powers. Mutate into a bat to travel, control Sim’s minds, slip into the darkness, wield vampiric strength, and more! But take heed, with every up, comes a down. And as powers are unlocked, you must also choose weaknesses to maintain balance.

Thin skinned Vampires will find themselves with extra flammable skin, which can sure make going out into the sunlight difficult. Sims who don’t want to treat their friends as lunch can choose to drink from the Plasma fruit. Meanwhile, other Sims could suffer from uncontrollable hissing, which always makes for an awkward social situation…

Now, if you are fretting about having to pick between all of those awesome Powers – worry no longer. You can unlock almost all of the Powers and Weaknesses through research, experience, and duelling, even after you’ve reached the maximum Vampire Rank. But do you know which Power Points you’re going to take first?

The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack arrives on January 24

Finally! Are you ready for another game pack? Vampires are about to return to The Sims 4! The newest game pack for the game is called ‘Vampires’. Check out the press release below with new information, a video and several screenshots.

Live Forever with The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack!

Supernaturals have always been a great part of The Sims, adding even more unique storytelling opportunities along with darker, crazy fun. And that’s why we’re super excited to announce The Sims 4 Vampires* Game Pack, coming January 24th, 2017.

For The Sims 4, we really wanted to build out Vampires more than we’ve ever done before, and we think you’ll really enjoy them. They have their own special Vampire motives and needs, focused around gaining enough Plasma, Powers and sleep. Plasma is what Vampires drink, and it comes in a few different varieties. Your Sim can purchase Plasma Packs if they’re wanting a quick fix, or grow Plasma Fruit as a more long-term option. If you want to be a more traditional Vampire, you can also creep up on unsuspecting Sims while they sleep drain Plasma from them. Or just ask nicely, but where’s the fun in that?

Now, hold on, go back. Powers? Yup, Vampires have Powers! You’ll be able to use these to turn other Sims in to Vampires, and move around in different forms, and more. We’re going to talk about that in in the coming weeks, we promise. But for now we’ll just say that they add to your experience as a Vampire, gaining both powers and weaknesses which will affect your story and how you play your Vampire.

Vampires also can have two forms: regular and dark, and if you have both then your Sim will spin in to the Dark Form to perform Vampire actions. They’ve got their own creepy walk style too, that we think you’ll really love. Oh, and you probably shouldn’t leave them out in daylight either. After a little while they get a bit… flammable.

The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack is coming soon

This Game Pack also adds a bunch of totally new Create a Sim options! We’ve got glowing eyes and creepy eye sockets, new washed out skin tones suitable for Sims that literally never see daylight, and some really dramatic brow options to give your Vampire that sinister-ancient-being look. There’s more, don’t worry, but we know how much you love finding fun new stuff. Oh, and about those two forms. You’ll be able to fully customize both options, but if you’ve perfected an outfit and want it for both forms, we’ve got you covered with a handy little button to copy between them!

Wanting a whole family of Vampires? Sims can be born as a Vampire, but their powers won’t start until they age up in to Teenagers. You also won’t know until then if they got the Vampire genetics or not, as the Plumbob style won’t change until then too. At that point, they’ll also stop naturally aging up. Don’t worry, you can get the trusty Birthday Cake out and age them up that way if you want to, or they can just live forever and continue their legacy in Forgotten Hollow.

Did we mention Forgotten Hollow yet?

The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack is coming soon

Forgotten Hollow is the new World coming in the The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack. It’s completely different to previous The Sims 4 worlds, and makes a great place for a Vampire to live as night-time lasts long here. There’s one block, with five lots, all centered around a plaza area dedicated to Vlad, the founding Vampire of Forgotten Hollow. You’ll notice that this World looks and feels totally different to the others in The Sims 4, with creeping fog and a lot of withered, old foliage. We wanted this to feel like a centuries-old neighborhood with history and secrets, so there’s also some great Build & Buy Mode objects to help you create your perfect Vampire home. There’s also a lot trait that’ll encourage Vampires to stop by your Sim’s home more often. Don’t worry, Vampires aren’t unique to Forgotten Hollow and they will show up from time to time in other Worlds, just not as often.

The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack is coming soon

Of course, no Vampire home would be complete without the classic Vampire objects. Your Vampire Sim can spend their days avoiding daylight and playing the pipe organ, which has its own skill to level up. Oh, and one more little thing. There’s also new coffin beds, that your Vampire Sim can totally WooHoo in.

We’ll have even more information for you about this pack over the next two weeks, but we hope you’re as excited as we are! Come talk to us on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr & Instagram, and tell us what you’re looking forward to most using #TS4Vampires
